Our main focus is on providing solutions for specific customer needs in the areas of human, intercultural and international communication. There is no one answer for you and your company, so that's why it's important that our services can be employed in such a wide variety of useful combinations.
The information, skills and strategies acquired from us can help you to improve existing channels of communication. They'll also help you to explore new areas for interaction and exchange with the confidence of knowing what to expect and how to react.
Our services can form the basis for customized seminars and workshops, tailor-made intensive/extensive language courses, or specific language services such as interpretation, translation or helping you to prepare for a specific meeting or presentation.
We offer workshops and seminars on developing communications skills and strategies. This may involve helping you to develop a company policy for handling email, preparing outside sales staff for international deployment, or preparing you to meet your new foreign partners.
People from different countries and cultural backgrounds use communication strategies and techniques that may be unfamiliar to others. This can lead to misunderstandings, misinterpretation of intentions, and can be a great hindrance to effective communication. Through examples and self-discovery we give you an awareness and appreciation of these "unwritten rules", allowing you to better understand others and to choose among a wider array of possible behaviors to make international exchanges both more effective and enjoyable.
We specialize in "last-minute" language services to help you prepare and rehearse that presentation, speech, meeting or negotiating session. We also offer customized intensive workshops for business and technical language acquisition. Additionally, we arrange regular and scheduled German and English language courses for individuals and groups.
Our translation services are concentrated in the areas of general correspondence and business communications, project management and documentation, IT and internet, technical documentation, manuals, specifications, business processes, content management, quality management, e-learning, e-commerce, economic reports, proposals and legal documents.
Using translation memory software (Trados) we are able to handle translation and localization projects involving many different document formats, including plain text, MS Office formats, HTML, XML and database content.

I am German-American raised in both countries and educated bilingual in English and German. My profound knowledge of both the US and German society include a deep understanding of the transformation process East Germany has been and still is experiencing. After the wall came down, my interest in how societal changes are dealt with inevitably brought me to East Germany. Living and conducting sociological, economical and political science research there for nearly ten years once again unmistakably taught me the ever present importance of cultural communication. My teaching experiences before and during that time include setting up curricula and choosing the right teaching techniques be that for science or English classes.
After acquiring my PhD in political science and working for an international consulting company I decided to dedicate myself to helping people and corporations in both my home countries to better understand one another.
